29th AHMOPI CONVENTION
The Association of Health Maintenance Organizations of the Philippines, Inc. (AHMOPI) will hold its 29th Annual Convention on November 15, 2019 at Cardinal Santos Medical Center. Keynote Speaker is Atty. Pilar Nenuca P. Almira, President & Chief Executive Officer of Cardinal Santos Medical Center. Plenary Speakers the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer The EON Group Mr. Junie S. del Mundo, Jr.; Senior Vice President & Chief Operations Officer Mr. Ramon S. AHMOPI Chairman Mr. Ernesto B. Rufino, Jr. further said that "Like it or not, digitalization has now become a way of life in an ever-changing business environment. We are in an era of disruption and are positioning to take up the challenge of transformation in this fast-evolving digital world." In support of these thoughts, AHMOPI President Mr. Mario M. Silos said that "The disruptive significance in customer experience, operational processes and value propositions is apparent. The challenge lies in the actions to be undertaken for us to be able to harness these technological innovations to our advantage." further enthusing that . "It is our fervent hope that we collaborate and synchronize our endeavors in answering the call of digitization."
AHMOPI Executive Director and Over-all Convention Chair Mr. Carlos D. Da Silva said that "As an integral part of the country`s health delivery systems, and in relentless efforts to provide the Filipino people with significant and ever-evolving healthcare programs, the HMO industries continous to innovate on products and services, ably supported by latest technologies in the market of late. While there are risks in doing things differently from what is traditionally a norm in favor of emerging practices that are still being defined let alone tested, changes in the way we do things and the possibilities of success are challenging enough to take the plunge with fingers crossed." On the Association, he further said that. "The AHMOPI stands committed to take every opportunity to grow the business, to deliver quality yet affordable healthcare products and services to the Filipino people. Backed up by strong and dependable partnerships with the country`s premier institutional health care providers and medical specialists, it is ready and able for disruptive innovation and digital transformation for the good of the industry."
